Excursion open-air cages of the Public nature protection institution

The small forest zoo – demonstration open-air cages with wild animals – allows visitors of national park to admire majestic bisons, graceful deer and roes, to see a careful lynx, wolves, a bear, a fox, wild boars, some species of birds of prey among whom the close attention is drawn by our biggest owl – an eagle owl big-eared.

Except native types, open-air cages have held some animals at different times delivered on the territory of our country: daniel, spotty deer, a raccoon dog, ostriches, and also the favourite of children – a little pony.

The most famous inhabitant of open-air cages, of course, is the bison – the contemporary of mammoths and woolly rhinoceroses.

Open-air cages are located near the Museum of the nature and occupy the space about 20 hectares. Walk on open-air cages borrows from 1 to 2 hours.

Entrance to open-air cages paid. Tickets can be acquired in the cash desk located at a main entrance in national park.
